took some time off from prepping up for our big patchwork
long beach show next weekend to attend an etsy birthday party. yes etsy turned 5 today! and they hooked up with meetup.com to
have crafters host birthday parties all over the world. our friends steph calvert of hearts
& laserbeams and kelsey of kelso doesn’t dance teemed up to host a santa
ana party at auntie delilah’s store the road less traveled. about 20 or so people showed up with
crafts to work on and snacks and drinks.
someone made delicious homemade salsa, a lovely 3 layer birthday decorated
to look like fabric and stitches with buttons and of course delilah brought out
some of her preserves- tapas jelly (a red wine, shallot & rosemary jelly
that kicked it on a baguette with some chevre). delilah also debuted her kumquat vodka and some lavender
lemonade… amazing! many thanks to
these ladies that made the party happen!
