so... in november my friend claudia and i headed up to san francisco- random nicole's favorite city for the capsule street fair- an incredible event featuring tons of indie designers and artists from the bay area and beyond. the trip was rad! we drove up from l.a. and stayed at the hotel bijoux-which was a pretty reasonable place - the best part is the tiny theatre in the lobby which we hoped but failed to enjoy. we did however go out on sf style adventures... on saturday night we hit up tons of places...
had drinks and appies at the bar at hotel monaco, sushi as some other place i can't recall the name of, then went to north beach to my absolute favorite corn dog place ever! - sam's a little hole in the wall with a few seats and incredible corn dogs-highly recommended, coffee and desert at caffe trieste, drinks at vesuvio's, the grant and green, the saloon, more drinks at the gold coast- a cool piano bar off market. we tried to go to jill-our fav model on the website's fav bar but we were bummed to find out it had been bought and was closed for remodeling! ugghhh! the fair was great and we ran into some rad crafters we'll mention in the next blog!
